During the last E3, except for the reveal of Animal Crossing: New Horizons, not but one game really impressed me. It was a game revealed during Microsoft's press conference and now it seems to be making its way to the Nintendo Switch in 2020.

It's called Spiritfarer. You are in charge of building a boat that you live on and that serves the purpose of ferrying deceased animal spirits to their last rest. It's poignant, it's touching, but at the same time it seems to borrow a lot from Animal Crossing or Harvest Moon, only in 2D this time. Here is the reveal trailer :

It looks really pretty! And fun too.. although the whole dead animal thing idk if I'd play it.

That trailer hit me right in the feels. Beautiful game, but I'm not really sure if I'm up for such an emotional trip right now.

Damn, this game looks beautiful. The look, the music, the characters... I think I'm gonna get this game
when it comes out, the trailer made me curious for the story and all.

I'm glad I was able to get some of you to look at the trailer then :)

When I first saw the trailer during E3, I immediately knew this game would eff me up in the deepest and most profound ways . Which is to say, of COURSE I'll need to play this.

I still carry a ton of heartache from losing loved ones, animal and human.
I certainly wouldn't cut further into those wounds by investing in a game about it.
