Day 48, and I have to be quick because it's VERY late. Today was pretty good, low keyed I guess. Not much happened at school, but after school it was pretty good. First, I got a few birthday cards in the mail from my great aunt and uncle and my grandma and grandpa. After that, I went to my drum lesson. There, I forgot the check (I pay my teacher once per week) So I texted my dad to bring it in and he came in. Apparently, this was a part of a plan he made with my teacher. My teacher handed me a box, I opened it up, and inside was a splash cymbal! (It's like a crash cymbal, only MUCH smaller) Apparently, long story short, my mom ordered one on Amazon that got backordered so my drum teacher ordered me a better one (that we bought from him in a sense) So all in all, I got a new cymbal today as an early birthday present. The whole setup was pretty neat I think! It's a lot of fun to play around with... Now I just have to find parts in my playing that it sounds really appropriate in! Anyway, I'd better get to bed (I wasted a ton of time tonight drumming and watching Conan O'Brien on Youtube... So got my homework and such done late haha.) Night, and seeya tomorrow!
