i just bought the game and i have the custom splattershot jr and i don't know how to activate the inkstorm..i know you press R but all it does is throw the bomb...please help the noob...thanks

Did you press in the right control stick on your Joy-Con? You have to do that once your special gauge fills, and then you press R. The Ink Storm works just like a bomb, but then you should see it shoot in the air when it lands.

thank you...it worked...i inkstorm the enemy all the time now lol..

i'm so bad doing battle so i decided to ink as much spot as possible on the turf wars...i seemed to be able to be number one most of the time...i got so good at dodging enemies that it seems to always have 2 or 3 people chasing me try to kill men so my teammates are free to splat all they want...i still splat ink while dodging and weaving it was so much fun...it's hard on my fingers though..i tend to press the button too hard...

i downloaded the expansion but i'll have to wait until i get a little better on shooting enemies first...

Good luck on the expansion... It's a nightmare on some levels, but super fun and worth the 20$. Also the secret boss is the most infuriating boss EVER. NO EXAGGERATION!!!!

But I won't spoil anything. You'll learn soon enough, and you'll be a pro by the time your finished.

i played turf war today and one game...all my teammates abandoned me...the other 3 has zero points...i wish i can report them

You can report on splatnet
Just download splatnet on your smart phone
And then click battle
And you will see all of the matches you have done (only 50 battles and it always put the recent one)
And you can report them there

Idk if it does much since I usually report squid baggers in rank battle

They probably disconnected if you were all alone. Lots of people who have terrible internet are playing on Turf War but it'll get better once you unlock the Ranked mode. Though, it will always be a problem and it can be very frustrating

Well one thing they could have just gotten disconnected because the online in that game is bad, I get disconnected every time in that game. And you said they gotten 0 points and so that means they got disconnected because if you see a teammate has 0 points in turf war and that means they got disconnected. You will see that a lot letting you know.

Also sometimes people do leave the game by exciting the game in home menu on the switch.

Sometimes they would if only the bad guy team is very good then one of your teammates will leave.
I do it sometimes because it gets annoying when they keep killing you and that's why some teammates will leave also because of that.

don't give up too easily....the game is to cover the ground with paint not battle...it does get frustrating when you get killed...sometimes the gamers doesn't like me because i keep running away from them while covering the ground lol...so sometimes i will have 3 people (snipers) chasing me around instead of them painting lol...t'was really funny...especially when my team wins because the other 3 in my team we're free to paint lol...

I don't give up easily and I like having my teammates doing all the turf for me, but bad thing playing online is that most of my teammates don't care about the turf and all they do is kill ppl, like yo that isn't what the game is just about is killing the other team, its also about turfing so you can win.
So I have to deal with bunch of losers most of the time and I can't even remember when was the last time I had a good teammate on my team.
Man one thing I don't like is most of the time I can tell I'm playing with little kids who don't know how to play the game, even ik its a kids game and not very much for older ppl but still.

Also trust me when you get to a high level like in the 50s or 40s and then that's when the game teams you up with ppl who are good at the game and they don't give you a chance to do much.
So rn you don't know what's its like for me, but sometimes you may get lucky to team up with noobis, because I don't get to team up with noobs anymore.

Our family group has them. Are you in a family group? If so ask the ''parent'' of the group to check their email. If you have a seperate membership then idk? Maybe there's a delay for some?

Yeah you have to pay for online for the whole year and I believe you do have to be in a family group.

I've read that it does apply if you purchase a full year family or individual membership, and I've got a family membership. I am the "parent" of my family group and no emails so far xD

Yeah the gear looks really cool, and I saw people using it last night when I was playing! Hopefully I can get it eventually, I'll probably have to call Nintendo and ask what's up and I hate phone calls rip xD

We got the email (with the code) last October 4 and we aren't even using a family account xD Yeah, as long as you purchase it for a whole year, it doesn't matter if individual or family. Pretty sure you'll get the email eventually
