Spoiled?

Do you consider yourself spoiled?

I don't. I have to earn nearly everything myself.

No, I don't consider myself spoilt, but my Dad calls me a spoilt brat when he's angry/ had too much to drink. I have to earn things, e.g my new laptop= my parents paid half then I raised the rest of my money by helping my grandparents, but I know girls in my tutor group at school that get whatever they want without doing anything.

Didn't your grandparents pay for your camera? And didn't your parents pay for a year of college?

I was definitely spoiled growing up. I have a twin brother, we were the first of 4 kids. So yeah, we were spoiled rotten. But as of today, 19 years later, I think my parents spoiling me helped me to become a better person. I live on my own now, pay for my own things and I'm doing great. BUT, I do have to say, some kids to this day, who are 18, 19 years old are HORRIBLE because of how spoiled they were as kids. They never grew out of it, and now, they take complete advantage of their parents.

I paid for my iTouch by mowing lawns every weekend for a month, but everything else I earn by grades and stuff. So yeah, I'm spoiled kinda...but not a brat. D:<

No. We're poor anyways, my mom is getting a job soon for the first time and is going to be homeschooling me the same time. I consider some of my siblings REALLY spoiled though. I only have 3 pairs of clothes and my older sister has a closet full. She got a phone when she was 9 and I'm 12 with no phone. They get birthday and Christmas presents, I don't. I ask my mom for something she always says no.

I deal with it though :/

Well, I never really ask for anything from my parents, unless it's necessary for school or whatever. But when I do ask them for something I really want (which is rare), I do expect to get it.
