Resident Night Mare
It rained off and on for most of the day yesterday. Hollowyn seems to be getting a good deal of rain lately. If only I could slide that type of weather over to my RL town - we're still getting snow. 
I was chatty with the villagers, but the rain kept everyone from being too active and "pingy". I got a letter from Gulliver with a Shamrock Clock in it. He had been in town the day before and I pointed him in the direction of Ireland. I'm sure it's just a coincidence, coming on the heels of Shamrock Day, but yeah.
I moved some of my items around, following the Feng Shui a little more closely, and it seemed to have paid off. My HHA score jumped almost 10,000 points, so Creepy Lyle had them send me the pennant. I still have so much furniture to collect that most of my rooms are pretty bare, but I'll get there.
Speaking of layout, I want to figure out what I should keep and what I just need for catalog purposes, so I printed out a grid for my rooms. I made squares for different furniture items and have been playing around with how I want to lay everything out. I also could note on the page any customization I wanted for furniture, so hopefully that'll keep me on track. Emerald's house is set up fairly boring, because I'll be going for max HHA points on theme, but then I'll probably scrap a lot of it and decorate however I want.
Everyone seemed to be talking about rumors last night; not specific ones, but just musing about how rumors can start easily and spread quickly. Makes me wonder just what is brewing in my little town.
Wish I had more interesting stuff to talk about, but sometimes you have a quiet day. Fishing Tournament is today, so hopefully there will be something to chat about tomorrow. Good luck to everyone who is going to enter!
