Stairs in Main Street?

I was looking at some pictures, and it looked like Main Street has stairs that bring you to an area with more shops! Is this true? Or did I just see it wrong?

The only stairs I see are the ones that go to Club LOL and the ones that go into your town. Do you have a picture of what you're seeing?

There are indeed stairs! Though they're not there at first. A lower section of town opens up for you once you've designed several public buildings on the main level. And then you get to design more public buildings on the lower level.

Yep, As you can see in this video there's other shops on the 2nd level, and in case you didnt know already, you'll be able to decorate those shops as you go on
