“Assorted” Collector
It's finally here. The long awaited StarFall fanfics are here. Since it's still winter, I'm gonna do a winter-themed fanfic. This year, the winter-themed fanfic is the Winter Carnival. As a bonus, I'm going to make myself into an Animal Crossing character, but only into some different form and appearance. The town the character based after me is from is called VeloCity, one of my future town ideas that was scrapped.
Mica has been invited to visit StarFall by a girl he met on the blog StarFall Forever. She was the writer and he was the person who made the most comments. As mayor of VeloCity, he's taking a break to visit StarFall. He got on the train to StarFall so he can meet the writer of StarFall Forever. He also invited the other human residents Kenny and Lenny to go, but they stayed until the train came back.
While riding on the train, Kaylee was sitting at the train station, waiting for Mica. She was in her mayoral uniform rather than her winter outfit. When the train arrived, Mica got off, and Kaylee jumped in joy to meet him.
"So you must be Kaylee," said Mica, "the writer of StarFall Forever. I never got to see you in real life before."
"I know," said Kaylee. "And you must be Mica from your blog, VeloCity Infinity."
"You got it! And you look beautiful."
"Thank you! I remember when I was younger, everyone thought I was ugly for only wearing ordinary clothes. The only reason why I have so many friends is because of how nice I was to others, and eventually became the most popular girl in my schools."
"So what should we do?"
"Let's go to the Space Castle. It's my house. My friends, Jenny and Penny, are waiting for you."
Mica and Kaylee both walk to the Space Castle. However, Mica wasn't familiar with StarFall, so Kaylee took him onto a tour of the town. She shown him the Re-Tail, the Plaza, the Town Hall, the Campsite, and all over the South Side of the river. Other than going inside the houses, Mica got to see everything in StarFall for the first time.
After the tour, both humans went inside the Space Castle, which is warmer. Kaylee took Mica upstairs to her bedroom. He meets Jenny and Penny as they were watching TV. Both women were in their winter outfits as Mica was wearing a business suit.
"Hey girls," said Mica.
"Hi!" said Jenny.
"Both of you look pretty."
"Thanks," said Penny. "Even if we don't have a huge interest into fashion, we still like to be called pretty."
"It's warm inside," said Mica, "so why do you have your coats on?"
"We need to stay warmer," said Jenny. "We get cold really easily. Does 40°F sound cold to you? We don't start feeling temperatures like 40° until it's 70° or lower. Thankfully, with the heat in the Space Castle and the warm coats, it feels pretty warm inside. That, and our coats make us look prettier."
"What are you wearing under these coats?" asked Mica.
"Dresses of course," said Penny. "We girls love wearing dresses with thick tights. We wear that all year, but Kaylee had to be in her work uniform today since she had mayoral duties to do."
Mica left the TV area to talk to Kaylee. She made Jenny cook for Mica and the three women of StarFall. They had chat about their personal lives.
Next day, Kenny and Lenny arrived by train. Kaylee got lovestruck since more men were coming into StarFall. But she wasn't aware the Mica invited them. What she didn't expect even more was that Lenny and Penny invited more people. Third train to arrive in the vacation had Oscar, Tracy, and Joey, which were all men. Fourth train had Lola, Stacy, and Zoey, which were all women. The last train brought over Matthew, Charlie, Holly, and Helen. They all went over to the Plaza, along with Mica, Kaylee, Jenny, and Penny.
"Gosh!" said Kaylee. "We outdone it! 16 humans in one town is a lot."
"But at least we have eight boys in town," said Penny.
"I know," said Kaylee, "but that's too much for me."
At the Plaza, all 16 humans had to make an agreement on what they should have. As Kaylee was the mayor, she had to be the one in charge. The initial idea was to throw a party, but they had to come up with a backup plan. It was then when Holly suggested that there should be a winter carnival. She said that it should have rides, contests, and other attractions. Kaylee accepts the plan, as it will increase tourism to StarFall. But in order to organize the carnival, everyone has to be in a conference. Since one room wasn't enough for 16 people, they had to split up. Kaylee lets Holly take lead of one group. Jenny had another, Penny had the third, and Kaylee was the leader of the last one.
Everyone who was a citizen in Holly's town became part of Holly's group as their conference was scheduled to be in the back room of the Space Castle. Lenny, Joey, and Zoey were part of Penny's group as their conference was in the cabin room of Penny's house. Kenny, Tracy, and Stacy were in Jenny's group as their conference was in the ranch room of Jenny's house. Finally, Mica, Oscar, and Lola were in Kaylee's group. They are the main group as they chat upstairs in the Space Castle.
Before they left to their conference spots, Kaylee told them that they have to talk about what ideas they are assigned to and what to talk about. Even if there's a maximum of what they can have at the carnival, they need to come up with as many ideas as possible. At the end, Kaylee's group will verify them and see what they can have and what they can't have.
