Stefan Karl Steffansson diagnosed with stage 4 bile duct cancer

Actor Stefan Karl Steffanson, best known for playing Robbie Rotten on Lazy Town has stage 4 of a rare bile duct cancer and "his lifespan has been significantly reduced" as confirmed by his wife in Facebook.

I, for one am heartbroken. Lazy town was an enormous part of my childhood and Robbie was always my favorite character. How do you all feel about this sad news?

I heard about this! I also heard that people raised a lot of money for him since that one Robbie Rotten song went viral.
It warmed my heart that a viral meme like that could actually help someone out. I never watched Lazy Town but my cousins have it on sometimes when I visit. He's a very animated actor, it's very heartbreaking that this happened to him.

This breaks my heart! I also heard about them raising money which is heartwarming and so nice to hear but the whole situation is just sad I too loved Lazy Town and the memes are golden.
