Can you stick stickers on a 3Ds? (Not skins)

Is it wise to stick stickers on a 3Ds?

I just wonder if it’s okay to put stickers on a 3Ds to make it look different

Yes you can, but be careful of what kind of stickers you use.. You'd want them to come off easily so don't use too flat/hard to remove ones. I had BTF stickers on my now broke n2ds XL and I had to use.. was it vinegar or something just to get it off and it left marks where I had it so better get some puffy stickers that are easy to remove.

I remember putting stickers all over my DS Lite, and they looked cool but they eventually started to peel off. When I took them off they left sticky residue all over my DS and I had to use goo-gone and some tough scrubbing to get it off.

I would say it's fine, just be ready for residue if you decide to take them off after a while.

I had a mike wazowski sticker on my 3DS that was hard to peel off. There was a sticky residue when I removed it.

I never put stickers on my 3DS. I don’t use any sort of covers, stickers, or cases on my systems. I had a special edition Pok?mon 3DS, and it was cool. I wouldn’t have ruined it with stickers.

I mean it won't break your system or anything so if you like decorating with stickers sure go for it.

But it will be hard to get them off without leaving a sticky mark

Yeah, they'll leave bad marks and even scratches if they are those flat that never comes off literally.

Excellent choice

I had those fake jewel decals on my DS and my Wii years ago, and at one point I took them off my DS (never took them off my Wii). There was a lot of sticky residue, but eventually I was able to remove that and it was fine. I'd just make sure it's something you really want on your system so you don't have to worry about removing them.

it should be ok depending on the sticker! if it's a really crappy one lots of nasty looking residue will get around the edges/it'll be hard to peel off but outside of that it should be fine, i've had a popplio sticker on mine for like a year or two and you can't see anything around the edges + before that had some anime stuff on there, the worst that'll happen is you'll get the sticky residue under it like everyone says but it's generally super easy to wipe off with a sliiightly damp paper towel if the sticker isn't huge or if you don't put a load of them on

Yeah I wouldn't do it because stickers stickers aren't met for 3ds and they are hard to peel off on most of stuff that stickers aren't met to go on. I would put on a skin sticker instead of using normal stickers.
I never put on real stickers stickers on my DS because I know it will be a bad idea.
