It's 1AM, the town bells say as I'm wandering through my orchards in search of beetles. I turn my back towards the camp site when I hear twigs breaking. It's back, it's here I can feel it! The hate I used to drive unwanted villagers away has come back to bite me.
I run. As fast as I can. I'm doomed I tell myself as I hide inside my blanket fort. "Have faith stuffin'", a voice whispers from the dark. "I'm here for you". A gentle paw rests upon my shoulder as the sound of shattered glass fills the darkness. I peek through the fingers upon my face and see a colourful shadow drive the ghoul away. Deep into the endless night, forever.
