Hi!

I recently did a system transfer to a new 3ds xl and now i cant find my streetpass. When i open it, i can only see my sons data. Has anyone ever had this happen? Any idea what i should do? Thanks! :)

I'm not sure exactly where Street Pass data is stored. Were the SD cards for the systems swapped out correctly? If the data is stored there, it might be why the incorrect Street Pass data is being shown.

Yeah, I'm fairly sure the StreetPass Miis and such are on the SD card.

Fun fact: Only 3000 Miis can be in your StreetPass plaza at any one time.

StreetPass's Extra Data is saved on the SD Card. The data enables SpotPass for this particular software and contains all of the Puzzle Panels that are added beyond the first 7 panels. The DLC side has two datas: one that stores everything about downloadable StreetPass games and features. The other data basically operates as a patch.

The rest of saved data is of course found in the 3DS hardware's internal memory (NAND), something that the System Transfer process should carry over to the target hardware.

Since the topic creator sees the StreetPass data of her son, I think she might had accidentally used his 3DS instead of hers. If that was the case, then the SD card that was supposed to contains part of her StreetPass data should work fine on her old 3DS, which wasn't used in first place.
