Stupid question

probably a stupid question but, how do I click the white background from my avatar. The original image doesn't have a white background but it still shows up when I upload it.

I tried both ways it didn't work :|

You can try to save it down with a transparent background with a software capable of doing that, regular MS Paint can do it but is pretty hard to work around unless it just works with a transparent marking etc. Try Firealpaca if you want, it's free.

Also it's possible the image has that black transparent background thing when you copy it into a software, so you need to remove that as well.

Oooh okay, you can use my super noob way, just copy the color of the sidebar in ms paint and it looks like it's transparent but it's not lols.

I used Gimp to edit there was no background to remove but I'm a total editing noob so I might be doing something wrong...

Well, you need it t have that chess background thing if you know what I mean. So just erase that grey color and try again?

make sure your image meets the current forum limit as well

both the pixel dimension and file size limits

if it doesn't, when it resizes down, it will remove any transparency that may of been there before

Ok found the issue lol it was the wrong size ^-^;; haaaaa.... Thanks for the help
