Hi! Welcome to Kupoland! Although the name could make you think it's a Final Fantasy-themed island, in reality, other than the Island's name and the Moogle on the island's flag, Kupoland has nothing to do with FF. DA-9056-8665-9246
This island started as an environmental reserve, a place where animals could live in a protected society, free from harm. This society also has some very simple laws (don't harm, steal or abuse your neighbors) and it's own economy, being a commune where credits known as Bells serve as a pseudo-currency (even though Tom Nook's filthy capitalist's mind tries to change that).
The animals themselves have chosen their homes' locations based on how close they would be to their natural habitats. As an environmental reserve, Kupoland counts with some minds (and arms!) to do the needed maintenance and other necessary things on the island. Rami, Isabelle and Tom Nook are the island's managers, and Blathers takes care of the museum and also conducts researches on the islands fauna and flora, on top of his lifelong studies on fossils (he also developed an interest on fine art). Recently, Kupoland saw the arrival of Heitor, Rami's nephew, who came to Kupoland to enjoy a more peaceful life on the island.
Kupoland has a more natural look, being a it more developed in the southern section, but terraforming was necessary to make the island an ideal place for these animals to live comfortably.
