Does anybody here have any subscription boxes for anything? Last year I got some Japan Crate boxes, but then stopped because my subscription expired and I didn't renew it. I enjoyed getting the snacks, though. I got some Japanese Kit Kats, which were very interesting to try. My favourite part of each of those was probably the DIY kits I got. My least favourite item from those kits was a fish flavoured drink.

I recently subscribed to their Doki Doki crate with a three month prepay, and I am excited to get the first one.

my wonderful luv got me a subscription box for birchbox and i love it sm, i always wanted a beauty/skincare box but i'm too poor to justify them aha, so far i've got two boxes and they're honestly such value for money and i was super amazed i even got full sized products in the box ! so ye, it's nice having a present every month, i super love it and i'm thinking of renewing it myself when the sub stops because i'm so pleased with them

i'd love to try a japanese snack one but i'm worried i'd eat them all as soon as i got the box lmaooo, super intereted in the pusheen one but i'm broke so : (

My friend splurged and got it for a year and didn't really like it. :( A lot of the clothing articles didn't come in her size (even though it asks you when you start the subscription), and I guess she had a hard time getting them exchanged.

I've thought about getting a knitting subscription box, but idk if having my pattern picked out for me would be something I would really enjoy, and with the way I get busy and put down my knitting for weeks at a time, I'm not sure if a monthly box would be good for me lol. Maybe a quarterly one.

A couple of years ago I subscribed to Kawaii Box for about 6 months iirc. It was pretty good some months while others were just "meh" to me. Overall, I did like most of what was in the boxes though. :3 It was a bit frustrating to get my box late each month (via Singapore Post) but that's the "price" to pay for free shipping I suppose lol.

I've always been curious about beauty/skincare subscription boxes but I'm very particular about beauty products, don't care much for hair products (which can be recurring inclusions for some services), and my skin is sensitive.

I don't know if I'd subscribe to another box in the future.

in my birchbox you go on their website and put in the details of your skin + preferences! you can even choose to completely opt out of receiving hair products. so they basically tailor the box around you, it's pretty neat, i'm sure a lot of the skincare subscriptions are similar

Yes I've seen how they work (a friend of mine was subbed to Ipsy for awhile) and still have read about some people receiving hair products but I can't remember if it was Birchbox or another service since there are so many now. So I'm like oh my. D,: I definitely think they're cool and a good idea to try things out generally speaking though.

I really believe I'm too picky and so is my skin. xD I'm glad that you have been enjoying Birchbox though, that's awesome.

Lol, when I clicked on this, I thought the title was talking about Youtube Sub Boxes.

I don't have any sub boxes. Some seem a little cool, but I feel like I'd end up getting rid of most of the stuff, except for maybe the t shirts. I've also heard a lot have kind of gone down hill.

I used to get the Ipsy bags. I think it was $10.00 a month and it was some major value for me at the time. I'm not adventurous with my make up or hair and it introduced me to some great products. I still use this face wash that can be found at my local frys/kroger, and I also found the tarte bronzer that way. :) I think it was a good size. I just kind of stopped because at one point I quit my job and couldn't justify the price. I liked the small sizes too because, for me, they lasted forever. I don't know if the subscription is any good anymore.

I did Pusheen Box for a year. It was fun, and I enjoyed getting my box every season, but ultimately, with the USD/CAD exchange being so terrible right now plus shipping to Canada, it just wasn't worth it for me. For the most part, I've enjoyed and used everything I got in my boxes, but there's a small pile of stuff I never had any use for (the pillowcase, the shower curtain, etc.) that is just waiting to be sold or donated. It's one of those things that's fun if someone buys it for you as a gift, or if you have extra spending money, but I'd rather just save my money to buy things I pick out myself.
