Super weird plot reset thing...

So I'm doing the plot reset trick in my new town. And something weird is happening. The first few times, the plot was in numerous places around town. But probably the last five loads, it's been in the same place (a terrible place, no less). Different villagers, but the same dang place. o_0 Has this ever happened to anyone else? Is it just terrible luck or some sort of glitch? I imagine if I'd done something to accidentally "set" the plot, then the villager would be stagnant as well, not just the plot.

Just bad luck, some places in town are seemingly more likely to have a villager move into than others. ~ I'd advise sticking a pwp there to stop it happening later.
Since Sly moved out of my town the 2 times I've reset for placements over half the time they try to move into or just in front of Slys old spot. Wastes my time. :/

Yeah, I finally got a plot somewhere else after literally 10 straight with the plot in the SAME exact place. .__.; I was getting a little freaked out because I did not want a villager moving in two tiles from my front door! So relieved now that I got a plot elsewhere, with a villager I like (Freya!).

Stories like that make me happy I sandwiched my house between the river and the plaza. I might live too close to the river for a bridge, but no villagers can hassle me.
