A Little Bit About Me?

I am interested in many things, but my four major interests that I completely geek out over are art, music, video games and streaming.

Art is a major part of who I am, and I enjoy exploring a variety of media as a means of expression to help me find my inner artistic voice. My latest artistic passion is pixel art, which I got into when I discovered I could make my own textures for Minecraft. Since then, I have created several Texture Packs for Minecraft (all of which are still a WIP) ,and I?ve been working on patterns for New Leaf more recently. I enjoy spending hours in New Leaf perfecting my pixels, and I look forward to creating more in the future. I?ll be posting my patterns on my tumblr (SweetMopy) so check it out and let me know what you think!

I love music -- both listening to it and creating it. Sigur Ros, Modest Mouse, and Guided by Voices are probably my favorite bands, and I could listen to them for hours. I enjoy a variety of music from radio pop to chiptune and many styles in between. I may not like everything I hear, but I am willing to give almost anything a shot. As far as the type of music I create, I would probably describe it as fun and whimsical songs that have a pop/folk sound.

I grew up both watching and playing video games. I must have been around 10 when I finally received my very own gaming system. It was a beautiful electric blue Game Boy Pocket, and I absolutely fell in love. I?ve been a handheld Nintendo gal ever since. My first Animal Crossing was actually AC:WW. I honestly didn?t think they could make a better game until I played New Leaf. I probably have over 1000 hours in New Leaf XD but I don?t see myself stopping any time soon!

Streaming is my newest passion, having only started at the beginning of November (2014). Initially I wanted to create content for YouTube, which I have been wanting do for a few years at this point, but I've only recently had the time and means to do so. I decided to give Twitch a go while I was researching video editing and all things YouTube, and I had no idea that I would fall in love with it as much as I have! I am still planning to create more content for YouTube in the future, but nothing can beat the feeling of sharing the games you love with a community you worked hard to build. I would love to be able to stream all day every day and support myself while doing so, but I ultimately do it for the fun, the friends, and the fabulous games!

Thanks for reading my text wall. I look forward to getting to know more AC nutz in this community!
