tablet help pls

I'm using SAI Along with a Huion 580 graphic tablet. It's set up correctly and works EVERYWHERE except Sai.

I tap one, then it freezes for a bit. I can't draw at ALL.

If you've made sure the SAI isn't defective:
Are you bumping into any buttons on your tablet pen?

No, I'm just naturally holding and tapping it.

Make sure the wire is plugged in complete maybe o: sometimes I move it when I go to draw rather than when I use it normally

Also, I should mention, it doesn't work when using my regular mouse either.

Did you download sai illegally or buy it from the website? if you got it not from purchase, you might want to try another download

I do, but since I can't get it to work, I was wondering if there were any programs on par with sai. (thats not gimp)
