TBT account interest disabled.......how to rectify

Hi I put 1k TBT into my account the other day but interest is still disabled, is this something that changes or can I change it. After all who would choose daily interest at 0% if a higher rate is possible? Confused.....I am.

there was a better time when you could dump ur tbt into ur abd and get interest every 24 hr. .01% of it i think. then ppl ruined it for all

I was wondering what had happened! I hadn't been on the forums in months and was sad to see none of my bells had earned me any interest while I was away. I'm disappointed cheating the system is what some people resort to, especially for little bits of imaginary currency :/

That's rather unfortunate, I would love to collect interest on Bells haha. I remember collecting a couple of times but I didn't get very much since I didn't have many bells at the time. Hopefully it comes back someday, with some way to counter interest abusers.

I remember being able to have interest on here when I joined the forums. I just recently noticed that the interest rate was 0%...figured I would take out what was already on my forum ABD. That's a shame.

Does anyone know whether the interest system is being reworked so it can't be abused (at least not in the way that it was previously), or is it just disabled altogether and essentially a "dead" or to-be-removed feature on the site now, with no plans of it ever making a comeback? I didn't even know it existed until I saw it had been disabled and I was kinda bummed, lol

I hope they rework the interest system, but nothing has really been said about it.

Mods are lazy and seem to think using tbt bells to be on anonymous is a priority so prob not

Interest is still under discussion. It hasn't been permanently disabled though don't expect it to return as the same function somewhere down the line.

The exploit that ended it wasn't just a simple fix, nor one easily detected, so that is why it is still unavailable. If it had been as simple as changing around some code then it would have been fixed already. In reality it involved more than just the one feature, some of which couldn't be changed.

I don't see how people abused the system, I mean, did they put TOO MUCH btb in? in which case, can't really happen. It's on a daily clock, and I doubt people hacked the system. I just don't see what people did, does anyone know?

At this point is doesn't matter what happened. Just that it did.
