TBT Currency

Hello! I just started my account today and I was wondering how exactly you earn TBT credits/currency/whatever it is called. Also, is there any fast way to earn them?

You earn them via posting. There's a few boards where what you earn by posting is reduced or nothing at all is earned, but I don't remember all of them off the top of my head. I believe it's the Villager Trading Plaza, Introduction Board, The Basement, and the Cellar where you don't earn bells.

You can also get them by trading things of value in the Marketplace like ACNL items, villagers, artwork you make, etc.

No, you can earn bells by trading items here, or by selling things ;v; And yes, when you first join TBT, you get a lot of bells when you post. (I think you get 500 when you first join?)

After an amount of time, you don't get as much bells. The amount of bells you get by posting is determined by how long it is.

There's a threshold about of "welcome bells" avaliable for new users. I'm not actually sure how many it is, but let's say for example it's 1,000 tbt bells.
You unlock here tbt bells by doing certain things.
Eg; making a new thread may give you 100 tbt bells, 50 posts may give 1,000, etc... This is basically the formula until you obtain all your welcome bells, then you will earn the lower, standard amount.


Someone can probably explain better, but hopefully that kinda make sense

Ah alright, thanks for the answers read as well that you get through trades and all but since I havent done any of that I just thought there might be another way of obtaining them, but makes sense with welcoming tbts when youre new

Hahahha same at first, but its quite nice so you dont need to pay with the ingame bells all the time you can transfer by clicking on the amount of bells under the username's picture. You can also buy things on the forum with them, if you click on shop, like additional mailbox space or to change your username. there are also some collectibles you can buy but i personally dont really see the sense behind those
