This may sound odd to you folks but I,ve never played Animal
Crossing. Could all you ladies and gentlemen tell me all about
Animal Crossing?

You choose either a boy or girl character and join a town full of animals. You buy a house and can have it expanded but you'll have to pay 'bells', the form of currency to get it. You can purchase furniture and other household items from the local store (which can expand by buying lots). Your house will be rated in points depending on how stylish it is. Every Saturday you can visit K.K. the local guitarist to get songs for your pad. More animals will move in over time and you can chat with them, run errands, or write them letters. Another goal is to hunt down fossils, fish, bugs, and paintings to put in your town's museum or sell them for extra cash.
Special guests will also visit your town every once in a while.

Very interesting. I should try it out sometime.

It's very unusual, if it's your first time playing. It is very original (No, it is not enough like SIMS for there to be a relevant comparison).

It sounds boring, but it's really addicting. Your goal is ultimately to complete your house, fill it with furniture, keep a perfect town, and continue the cycle.

Some people never quit - because the game has no ending whatsoever. You may complete your house, and just keep changing its style.

You can always have new villagers (animals) come.

It just keeps unfolding. Until you've literally done everything (or everything you feel you need to) it never ends. And, if it does, restart.
