Day 112. Today was the second day of testing. It began first period today, which sucked because nobody wants to test right away, right? So this test was over reading... And I gotta say, it wasn't too hard. I finished this one earlier than any other test and I scored pretty well (243ish) Unfortunately, we had to miss PE because of the timing conflict, but oh well. It wasn't that bad. So, that outta the way, next period I worked on my solar sprint car. I guess I never explained that. Our TAG teacher wanted our group (and other kids in the school grades 6-8) to participate in this mini solar car race thingy. I had been working with a friend, but he was starting to bug me (blaming me for his mistakes, not working, failing when he tried to work) so he and I disbanded and Kristalnacht (the name of our car) was no more. I had started working on my own car, which was going okay, but the engine's wires were disconnected. Luckily, my dad had a sodering (sp?) iron to heat it back onto the engine, so all was not lost. The contest is on Friday, so can't wait to miss a day of school for this! Alright, the rest of the day was pretty lame and do-nothingy. After school, I had my piano lesson. I worked on my two solo songs (one week until the recital.. Le gasp!) I did horrible, to be honest. It's not that I didn't know the songs (erm, partially but...) It's just I get frightened playing in front of others. If I'm at home with my parents, I can play it fine... But when people are around (that I'm not around always) then I start messing up. Hope I can get over that by next week! Well, that's about that. Thanks for reading this blog (and tolerating me as I try catching up) and until next time... Seeya!
Question of the day: Ever built a model car/solar car?
