Today I'll be talking about some of the best Video Game music from newer and older titles that -Still- manages to impress. These are some of the songs that you can have on repeat over and over and they'll still never manage to get old. In the fine words of tvtropes, here are some earworms.

Yeah it comes up on every video game post I make, but that's just because the music is so darned good. I still can't stop listening to three tracks from this game, and I probably never will. So with that, let's have some earworms.

Emil (Sacrifice/Karma):
One of the ultimate dramatic songs. There are two variations of this, but Karma takes the cake with it's dramatic instrumental background, while Sacrifice relies more on strings.

Shadowlord:
I really wish I could find this song with the full in game variation, starting out with just the melody and moving on to the far more dramatic parts, then finally ending at a music box version of the song.

Song of the Ancients/Fate:
There are three variations of this song in game, four if you count the version with no words. All of them are gorgeous.

Who makes a post about some of the best gaming music and doesn't include this game? You would have to be insane. There are two songs from this game that really managed to catch my attention.

Devils Never Cry:
An earworm itself. This song has metal and then goes calmer, but still manages to hold your attention all throughout. I found myself singing along when I remembered the words.

Vergil Battle 3:
The last of your three fights with Vergil, this song doesn't disappoint when it comes time to create that dramatic moment between dueling brothers. It starts out slow, but again speeds up and creates that feeling of urgency. You won't get bored of it.

Another newer game with excellent music. I got chills right after the splash screen of the game when one of the better and more memorable songs was played. You could tell just from the music that something was wrong.

Ezio's Family:
The song that doesn't disappoint at all, and one of the few songs from the game that actually remained memorable even after turning the console off.

I'll admit I don't know anything about Touhou, but I do know that the music is addicting.

On purpose I didn't state which game I'm talking about because really, every game has a winner on the soundtrack thing, and you can thank Harry-Gregson Williams for that. Each song is beautiful in and of itself, but there's three songs that are off the charts. One, you may even know from MGS2 as the opening theme.

Metal Gear Solid 2 Opening Theme:
The sense of urgency, and just that pride for the game itself really shines through this song. You can't get much better than this when it comes to an opening theme.

Metal Gear Solid 4: Metal Gear Saga:
Now, I said that the second game's theme was a hard one to outshine, but then again I found myself listening to this one for six hours on a plane. It's a piece that sounds like it's original counterparts without being them.

Metal Gear Solid 3: Debriefing:
You'll notice that with all of these songs they have something in common, they all sound similar. Pretty much anything with the original theme is an instant winner. This one is slower and much sadder, and you'll know exactly why if you've played the game. RIP Boss.

More to come maybe, there's still a couple of games that have soundtracks that deserve to be on this list.
