I mean, there's lots of threads for other things... So why not?

Beyblade is a game where you battle spinning tops to determine the victor.

Within the newer systems:

Ring-Out finish (get your enemy out of the arena)= 1 point
Survivor finish (be the last one spinning)= 1 point
Burst Finish (Make the enemy's Bey/Beyblade explode, which us called a Burst)= 2 points.

Beyblade is fairly obscure now, and I want to share it with others!

I always wanted the chance to play Beyblade when I was younger and at least experience what it’s like. I remember being at the mall many years ago and there was an ice skating rink, and inside a store there was a set, but sadly I think it was too much at the time. I absolutely LOVE the old seasons of the show though. One of the things I want to do is go back and watch all of them from start to finish since I haven’t seen them. Would be some fun watching for sure. :D

Wait- Midoriya?! Wow, I didn't think you'd know about this!

Personally I do have a few of the newer Beyblades myself, but I have watched some of each anime.

I swear, I was such a childish person at around 2018. I wanted to go all the way to Paris to see one of the official tournaments 😂

I also realise that a quote from BNHA and Beyblade are quite similar.

Beyblade: "Break all limits!"
BNHA: "Plus Ultra!"
What I mean is that Plus Ultra means virtually the exact same thing as Break All Limits.

For anyone who is wondering how the show/anime has evolved over time, here’s an intro to the show that’s older:

and here’s a more recent one:

As well as those, the Japanese openings are things to behold. God, I love those. I have every single Japanese one so far downloaded. DB's opening isn't here yet, that season hasn't come out yet. Can't wait!

I loved the OG beyblades! I especially liked assembling them. Popping those plastic pieces out of the frame was a lot of fun, and I liked how they had different shapes of weight discs. My biggest achievement (LOL) was that I had a Driger beyblade launcher!

I think saw that the newer beyblades didn't have has many loose pieces (no separate weight disc? bit chip attached to the attack ring?) I'm hoping I'm wrong though and that there are a bunch of cool bits to customize with!

The new systems have things to make up for bit chips- well, from burst GT onwards. They have these little things called GT chips which you place in the middle of the layer on top of the layer weight. Sparking has these too, and a Chip Core, but no layer weight. Sparking beyblades are super heavy anyway!
