I can't describe how happy I am to see the Wii getting some good 3rd-party support.

The Conduit
MadWorld

I know these two aren't coming out for a while, but holy crap. The Conduit looks like a promising FPS (and it's not on the 360, go figure) and MadWorld... looks... wow... seems like a Suda 51 game, anyway. Who else is interested in either of these two titles?

I haven't even heard of these games.
However, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers will be a game that I'll buy on the day it's released.

Conduit: Cautiously optimistic.
MadWorld: DAY ONE BABY.
Awww, Bul, are you still getting over your fear of another Red Steel happening? D: The Conduit looks promising enough to for you to not be cautious about it.

Have you not seen the kind of games High Voltage made?

Here is a sampling:

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
Codename: Kids Next Door - Operation: V.I.D.E.O.G.A.M.E.
Hunter: The Reckoning
The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy
The Haunted Mansion
Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law

A lot of 'em sucked really hard... but I guess that's because they were forced to work on properties they had no interest in. Maybe now that they're doing something original they'll do a lot better, but still. "Cautious optimism" is where it's at. : )

MadWorld, however, is coming from guys with awesome games under their belts... this is essentially Clover Studios... they made Viewtiful Joe, Okami, God Hand, etc... I'm pretty sure Shinji Mikami of Resident Evil 4 fame is also involved. A winning combination as far as I'm concerned.

I hope that you're not basing your predictions of the games just on that, you can never judge the next output of a developer by looking at their past work.

How else am I supposed to judge? If a developer/publisher has a bad track record, chances are they're not any good. I mean, we aren't expecting GotY material from Conspiracy Entertainment, are we? : )

I know the guys behind MadWorld have got a lot of experience and know what makes a game fun... that, and the video looks really impressive. The Conduit is also sporting some pretty great graphics, but it looks a little... I dunno... generic?

Conduit: Looks promising, but I'd probably only get it if it had multiplayer. I race through single player games way too fast.
MadWorld: Ooooooh, shiny. Looks fun. :evillaugh: I hope it's as free-roaming as it looks, and the dead-rising style weapon stuff is fun, hopefully it'll have some good controls to back it up.

I had never heard of either of them before this, but they both seem pretty good.

What's there to be worried about? I loved the first Red Steel, only problem was the terrible voice acting, which I think is hilarious anyways.

Conduit seems promising, the only thing that turns me off are the alien weapons... ugh, why can't we just stick with machine guns, shotguns, and pistols? >_>

MadWorld seems fun, I saw Dead Rising-esque gameplay like Gremp.

Conduit looks like a game I might be getting. It almost looks a little like Halo... I think it would be really good with multiplayer.

MadWorld looks O.K., like Gremp said, hopefully it's as free-roaming as the video implied. If it is, and has multiplayer (Which I think it does... Does it?), I might get it. Though I doubt my parents would let me if they saw that trailer.
