This is my first fanfic based on Bethesda's Elder Scroll Games 3 and 4, Morrowind and Oblivion. Here it is!
Prologue
As I woke up from the bed I saw that I was still on the ship from Hammerfell. I had I weird dream. An orc walked up to me and claimed me as the new emperor. I didn't believe it at first. Ever since Uriel Siptem's assination there has been no emperor and The Elder Council has been going insane since the Oblivion Crisis in Cyrodil.
We were almost at the docks and I got to talk to some of the boat crew. They told me I was heading to Valenwood, home of the Wood Elves. Its south of Cyrodil. I quickly got some of my friend's Famous Potato Bread. He lives on the Green Road in Southern Cyrodil. His name is Lord Dufrum the 3rd. As we arrived at the dock I was greeted by a Wood Elf Guard. She sounded very snooty but not many Wood Elfs like Imperials.
Meanwhile in Cyrodil...
Lord Dufrum had just finished his letter.
Dear Tyler,
It is about time you got in Vallenwood. Remember to keep your guard and to stop at some shops to get supplies. The forests there are worse than Oblivion. Good thing Makar Cameron is trapped in Oblivion. Lately Ocato has been fretting about Tamerial and no emperor. Anyway there are dumb mud crabs outside so I'll need to get rid of them. I'll see you soon.
Your friend,
Lord Dufrum
"Well I better get this to the Black Horse Courier in the Imperial City," he said as he got his sword. He went outside as he saw 2 bandits and a Demora. "Quash me not la!" said the Daedrea Prince which meant I have come for your soul.
Chapter 1: Rise of the Mages Guild!
After I had gotten through registration I went around the town Ongal. Ongal is a very big town and is very poor. They used to be a very magnificent city until the one devastating day where many Imperials came and destroyed everything. That is why Wood Elves don't like Imperials. I quickly walked outside of the poorly built office when I was attacked by an Imp. Dumb monsters are everywhere here.
After exploring the town I found an Inn. It wasn't that poor and it was very nice. I could still smell the rat and mud crab smell but it was very nice. There were gold vases everywhere. I got my room but it costed me 100 gold. "You
Thanks for the comments. I'm going camping soon so I'll post Chapter 2 on Sunday most likely. It will explain the what happened in the games a little bit more.
Chapter 2: The Book of Tamriel
I was unconscious. I ended up having another dream but it was different. This time I was the Hero of Kvatch and The Champion of Cyrodil. I also saw the emperor Uriel Siptem before he died. I also saw something that Lord Dumfrum also known as Barus had seen. Right before the emperor had died I had saw something weird. It had seemed like a small red machine and the Amulet of Kings had broken a wall. I thought it had just been part of the dream but I wasn't sure.
When I was awoken by a man named Raminus Polus. He seemed kind of old but he told me a story about the Amulet of Kings. That it had a connection to the top floor of the Imperial Palace. I asked him how he knew all of this and he had told me that really shocked me. He told me we were in Cyrodil. As I went outside it was true. I had seen it all. The imperial palace. I went back inside but I ally saw an open door. No one was around so I decided to see what was in. You normally don't see a dwarven door in the nearby provinces.
I walked inside and saw a lot of machinery. I saw a sign called the Orrery. It sounded like a weird name so I decided to investigate more. I walked up the steps but they had broken. I had been hanging by my life seeing almost every second of it. I could see the sweat going down my neck from nervousness. My hand had slipped and I fell.
I ended up in the same bed I woke up yesterday. Raminous Polus and a nice named Brothril. She had seen me in the Orrery while see was repairing it. They seemed mad yet happy that I was alive. They took me back in there but this time I didn't fall I made it to the top. Brothril had pushed a button and all of a sudden the giant machine had opened. I was dazed by it and got a major headache. They knew that I was their only hope of restoring the Amulet of Kings.
Raminus Plous had taken my outside to the ruins of The Temple of the One. He had said this is where it all ended. The Oblivion gates were shut here and peace was restored. This was also where the last heir to Uriel and where the Amulet of Kings were destroyed.
They said that a book had been found in a nearby Aylid ruin but the only problem they couldn
Chapter 3: The Rumare Slaughterfish
It was a long day of traveling. I still haven't reached Chorrol. I think I am lost. I went back the same way I came hopefully to come across the Imperial City but I didn't. I came across a small village. It looked pretty poor but richer than the houses in Ongal. I talked to a man who looked retired. I asked for a place to stay and he said that he owned an inn but he wouldn't let me in.
"Please, I'm hungry and tired," I pleaded to the old man. "I'm sorry son but you need to do something for me," he replied. "What!" "I need you to get me 50 Rumare Slaughterfish skins and you may stay he replied. I thought that was easy so I went into the 2 nearby lakes looking for some. I saw 1 and slashed it with my sword. My sword had broken.
"Darn!" I shouted. I looked at it again and it was a rock. I was so tired I was seeing things. I knew I couldn't do this. Maybe the old man was just an illusion. Maybe just maybe this is a nightmare. I knew I couldn't make any risks trying to find out so I decided to go back to the man. He told me I was in the city of Hackdirt which is south of Chorrol. I knew that I couldn't trust this man so I decided to explore more in the village.
I did find something though. I had found an underground mine. I decided to go in to investigate. I actually found a prison area. There was a lady named Dar-Menna. She was a sweet little Argonian lady. She had told me this wasn't the first time she was trapped he but her second. I tried to bust the locks but it was no good. She told me that the first time she was trapped The Champion of Cyrodil rescued her but he had some weird type of lock pick. It looked like it had a Daedric artifact stuck to it.
I listened to her tell me stories about him and how he had saved Cyrodil from Lord Dagon and how he worked with Martin Siptem. She gave me a description of how he looked which I wrote on the back of the old Black Horse Courier. When I heard the description it seemed like I have seen him before. So I got a lock pick out trying my best not to break it and Dar-Menna was free. She escorted me to Chorrol which hopefully would be better than Hackdirt.
