i think they were up like a week into January last year; besides, many people IRL leave their decorations up through January 5th (Epiphany Eve)...

I like that they're seasonal! As much as I love Christmas, it's nice to have things back to normality afterwards. This way the lights feel more special, you know?

I do have a question though; do the lights we've already received return to our inventories the following year or are they permanently erased? Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask, it just seemed more relevant here than in the general questions thread.

The lights will disappear completely and will not return to your inventory next year, which is why we kept the price so low at only 14 TBT bells per item. The only "temporary" collectible that becomes visible again when the item is reintroduced into the shop are the Valentine's Day Roses, though they remain in your in inventory with a Hidden status throughout the year.

Speaking of which, I can't wait for those roses. Hurry up, V-Day!

last year the lights were 28 tbt, so yeah 14 tbt is a nice break
