The Magic of the RS Building

It was a magical moment when the RS tent became a building. Before, it was a tent in an empty plaza surrounded by weeds. There was no town tune, and the laid-back music really set the tone for a deserted island. Signing up for the Deserted Island Getaway Package boasted more than an untouched island. It presented a new experience. It was a different experience most Animal Crossing players weren't used to. The experience and look together really sold the deserted island theme.

Today, my RS tent became a building. When Isabelle arrived, it was like she brought over the "spirit" of Animal Crossing towns. The hourly music started playing. The clock chimes every hour. When I speak to a villager, that little jingle plays now. Not only do I get a visual sense of my island becoming a village, but I also get an auditory sense, as well. It's little details like that I like.

I've been enjoying the deserted island start-up. It's different, but it's enjoyable. Seeing and hearing the accomplishments to my island lets me know I'm getting closer to the "traditional" Animal Crossing village. When I construct a new building or structure, the music that plays during the ceremony is so triumphant and beautiful...and it lets me know my island is growing. The sensory experience of accomplishment is exciting.

When we gain that pre-established village look, it's only a matter of time before our quiet towns become developed communities!

I have to admit that I teared up over that ceremony for the Town Hall. Everything about that moment was an amazing feeling. I went over to my friend's town who isn't at that part yet because they just started playing and that was when I realized how much my town had changed. It made me feel really accomplished! And I have to admit, I miss that little soothing guitar tune a little tiny bit.

The real magic of the RS building is how Tom and Isabelle feel so alive despite never leaving their office area. This morning when I walked in, they were doing exercise together! I feel bad talking to Tom and ruining the moment.

Nook and Isabelle have a lot of fun animations in the town hall, it's so endearing.

I love that music that plays during the ceremonies. The "tutorial" music was nice too! It fit the deserted theme quite well.
