I personally enjoyed Batman vs Superman and Ben Affleck is my all-time favorite Batman actor. Batman Returns (with Michael Keaton) is my 2nd (and last) favorite. Apart from that, I couldn't really enjoy any of the DC films, including the praised-by-all Nolan trilogy. =/
This casting is really weird but I can see why they chose him. It's difficult to find someone catchy for the role of Batman and since Ben Affleck was more of a "muscle" type of Batman, now they need to go for the "pretty boy" type. Though, I don't find this actor that pretty. But they always put a ton of make-up and do different things to make them look different, so who knows?
Anyways, I'm not really waiting for any superhero movies. :3 The only ones I ever liked were the Spider-Man trilogy with Tobey Maguire and Batman Returns + Batman vs. Superman. These are my favorites, and I've never felt interested in modern Marvel or DC, apart from those.
Also! I'm one of the people who liked Suicide Squad, haha. Don't get me wrong, the movie was terrible, but the casting for Deadshot, Harley and Joker, and scenes with these three actors were just amazing. If they were to remove the silly main story, all of the useless "Squad" and just make a Joker-Harley-Deadshot vs Batman movie - it'd be brilliant! Start it with Joker being put into the asylum, don't do any of the make-up and just explain his character, show his interaction with Harley and then do the escape as an intro-to-middle part and just come up with a story to make some bigger conflict for them, minus the Squad. Enchantress wasn't too bad, so they could leave her as a side-villain.
And if you read more about this movie, they were actually planning to do this! This is crazy, but there are so many scrapped amazing scenes like Joker attacking Batman's hideout, stealing his Batmobile... just so many scenes! But all cut for whatever reason. =/

I can't imagine that man as Bruce Wayne. At all.
I love Batman as a character, but honestly I think he's been overdone. There's a lot of other great superheroes out there. We don't need yet another Batman movie. I kinda think the same thing about Spiderman though...
True, I agree.
Batman's had a great run and so many different versions; the cartoon was pretty great, too and there's even a stunning anime film (which I highly recommend!) about Batman... but they keep making more. It's just pure greed, honestly. The only thing we can hope for is that some creative people will turn this greed into something good and valuable. I don't see DC ever stopping the Batman train or Marvel stopping the Spider-Man. And to be honest... I've seen some of their new heroes... none of them ever stood out to me.
I decided to add a trailer for Batman Ninja (the anime Batman) film which I mentioned. :3
