I've heard lots of theories about something like the sims has where you upload your designs to a hub of sorts (kind of like in HHD where you upload your home designs for people to check out), but I'm not sure how keen I am on the idea because its a feature that you'd need wifi for and could easily be eliminated when Nintendo decides to end wifi visits. I'm so so curious about what they're going to do next because with the new types of clothes we're able to wear, we'll definitely be wanting to share patterns and stuff- they wouldn't just remove something so vital lol. What are your ideas about it? Because if its going to be a code that we'll need to type in then it will get old real fast, I think. I don't own a switch just yet but I can imagine that typing on it would be a pain. What if they release a free switch app for it? I dunno, I'm just rambling now lol.

Also, we had to unlock the qr code makerthing through Sable (which I always thought was a neat idea). I wonder if that will remain the same??

I never use them, only to make the town flag and that's it. ^_^

Typing on a switch isn't that hard, especially in handheld mode its just like typing on a 3ds. I don't think they'll use the IR cam on teh right joycon, since the switch lite doesn't have an IR cam. I'm really interested and curious to see how they're gonna do this. Without the cam function the 3ds had, its seems so much harder to share.

I think I remember hearing someone say something about a qr code app on our phones is how we will be able to share. I think there is an Nintendo app for doing voice chat and other things, but I'm not entirely sure. I don't even know what it's called, so I may have to look it up, unless someone else can confirm this for me.

Also, I actually didn't mind in Happy Home Designer looking up all the different designs, but I will agree that it gets really hard to find one particular code or design for something. Hopefully, what I described in my first paragraph is true and that there is a phone app for it. :)

If I had to guess this is going to be something available as a special in-app feature of the Nintendo Switch Online app. It is hard telling if this would be restricted to paying Nintendo Switch Online subscribers or not. One thing that is unfortunate about this is long-term support does not bode well. So, playing the game after the Switch loses Nintendo support will lock you out of using patterns that were uploaded online and available in QR format. This kind of stinks because New Leaf patterns will work forever.
