Why does Ray William Johnson suck so much? Remember when the videos he uploaded on his channel were him talking about hot topics in front of that famous mosaic background? Remember your favorite martian, the dirty, disgusting fictional band that heavily utilized grotesque comedy and satire? Well, I hope you remember them well, since Ray has disabled comments on hundreds of his old videos and deleted many songs from the YFM youtube channel.

What happened, Ray? Why did you stop hosting the =3 show, and instead have boring hacks talk for you instead? Where has all of the funny, topical, original content gone? You know that nobody cares about your Sunday vlogs, right? Why was the character in YFM with your voice and resemblance named Puff? We NEED answers, Ray!

I'm pretty sure that there were a lot of legal issues going on with both =3 and YFM, so that may have effected some of this. The channel Quinton Reviews did a retrospective on RWJ, so I'd recommend that video if you wanna know more about why his content that he got famous for started dying out in the first place, but long story short, =3 was a MAJOR copyright infringement nightmare (his use of clips wouldn't be considered fair use so he was basically just stealing content in =3) and then I believe Ray shared most of the rights to YFM with his channels' network and that they eventually took the rights to his songs away, or something along those lines. Some of that may be inaccurate since it's been a while that I read up on this topic though. Doesn't really explain the disabling of comments though, IMO.

I remember he left youtube to pursue an acting career or something but came back a bit later. His videos weren't the same since. Your favorite martian was probably the best gig he had going too, wish he would pick it up again

He actually started doing music again and has 2 new songs on Spotify under the name "Fat Damon". One's even kind of in the style of YFM.

Also, didn't he direct Youtube Rewind, and got all mad when people had problems with it? I think being one of the most popular Youtubers for a while inflated his ego.
