Day 72! So today was our Jazz Band concert, but I'll discuss my day in general before I talk about that. My morning began with Jazz Band practice, actually. That was at about quarter to eight. I don't know if I've ever told the songs we were playing. If not, they are Blues Machine and Louie Louie. I gotta say, Louie Louie was my favorite one to play! School was pretty regular. At Algebra, I gave our teacher the thank you card. Well, right before actually. I'm sure I earned myself some brownie points for that (thanks for my friend for telling me to replace all the t's with +'s, haha) Then, afterwards, she told us that the corrections we made on our test (we got to correct the mistakes we made on our test) would get us a full credit point. My friend, thrilled about this, went up to give our teacher a hug. I commenced in singing the beginning of "Time of My Life" while this was happening. It was an epic moment, I say. The rest of school flew by, and before I knew it we were at the concert. The best part of it all? We got to wear hats and sunglasses! I got this cool fedora that belonged to my grandfather and a pair of shades, which was awesome. Everyone did amazing, and I had, well, the time of my life! Then I went home and pretty much posted this blog, after watching some reruns of old music concerts we've had (I like tracking my progress) So yeah, pretty good day. Tomorrow is Friday! In case you forgot, today was Thursday, Saturday comes after Friday... And Sunday's after that. I think it's going to be a fun, fun, fun, fun day, but we... we we we will have to see!
