Q. What are they?
A. The are "hacked" golden axes that look like lightsabers from star wars.

Q. They're hacked? Does that mean they're illegal
A. Nintendo says we're allowed to have them, since it's too late to stop us, but at a small price.

Q. What price?
A. They take up a space on you're DLC

Q. What's DLC?
A. Downloadable Content. Nintendo releases them through wifi.

Q. How much DLC can we have?
A. 256 per person

Q. What color do the sabers come in?
A. So far, red and blue

Q. I heard that some of them break, is this true?
A. Most of them are made from golden axes, which won't break, but if one was made from a normal axe, it would break.

Q. What does this mean?
A. It means that hackers can creat new items with prexisting properties. Like they can make a gun to act like a sling shot.

Q. What's Nintendo doing about this?
A. No one knows at the moment, but they might make an update trying to stop this kind of thing from happening again.

Q. So, there won't be a cool gun?
A. It really depends on how fast the hackers are, and how fast Nintendo is. Then they might just have to find a way around this.

Now this is by me.

I don't trust the lightsabers yet. If you sell them to Nook they are worth 1.7 million bells.
I talked with the creator of these items and he said this
The game doesn't "lock up". Nook simply refuses to buy it.
and this
It's a little joke - you have the most expensive item in the game (so far) and that greedy Nook won't buy it.
To get rid of it, give it away or sell it to your friends, or put it in the recycle bin.

I also found out that if you go to someone's town and the host has a DLC item in pockets or drawers, that item's information is put into your game save.

As for the shiny blue pikmin hat, it is just a color edit, the price in the catolog has been changed to 1 bell, and in your pockets it appears as a helmet even though it is still a hat. Nothing to be worried about there except paying too much for one.

Maybe this will clear some confusion.

Edit: if you still don't like these items don't buy them, don't post here, just ignore them. If you unexpectedly get one as the creator said just put it in the recycle bin or have someone do it for you. Simple as that.

Also to the admins: tell me if you think zetaboards won't like this. I'll get rid of it.

so if i sell the saber in another persons town will it still freeze (I do not have one)

And the game will be permanitly broken? (happened to my ds version some1 hacked me)

It's just a bad idea to have them

Just because nothing bad has been reported yet doesn't mean nothing bad can happen
True, there might be glitches. As I said I don't trust the sabres.

@ cody6695: The game doesn't freeze, Nook just doesn't buy it no matter who's town you are in. and in wild world those were seeds and were dangerous because they were unremovable and were in the wrong hands.

people have said if you have a hacked item it will ruin your warrinty on your wii is this true?

Wait, so if you go to someone's town and they have they have a light saber in their pockets, but you never touch the light saber will it still ruin your wii? Because my brother went to someone's town who had one and I don't want that to effect our wii!

If you don't pick it up, you're good.

Okay, good! I was going to get mad at my brother if it was going to ruin our wii -_-

Even if you pick it up it wouldn't ruin the wii. But if you did pick one up and you don't like the fact of having one just put it in the recycling bin.

so the ONLY bad thing they'll do is using up space for DLC?
