I was interested in this, and I thought I'd bring it up:

How many of the AC villagers' designs are specifically made to resemble real-life species of animals? Off the top of my head, I can think of:

Apollo - Bald eagle
Avery - Harpy eagle
Beau - Thomson's gazelle
Bianca/Rolf - White Bengal tiger
Blanche - Oriental white stork

Butch - Rottweiler

Deli - Hanuman langur monkey
Drake - Mallard duck (male)

Thank you! I like to find little details like this; it makes some villagers truly one-of-a-kind.

Anyway, I found a few more and added them to the list, along with some links for some obscure animals who want to compare the animal to the AC villager. Anyone who's interested in zoology or just wants to see what animal their favorite villager is based off should check it out!
