The villagers feel so lively!

This has probably been gone over before, but I enjoy how lively each villager feels now. It seems like with each new piece of footage we get, one of them is doing something new. It definitely makes them feel less autonomous and robotic feeling. I've always liked talking to my villagers before in say, New Leaf, but it definitely felt a little stale after a while depending on how much I talked to them, so this is exciting to see! I can't wait to talk to them for myself!

I love it! I feel like Nintendo really listened to Animal Crossing fans this time around and fleshed out the villagers. That’s my hope anyway.
I don’t think the snootys or crankys are going to mean, but at least villagers seem to have more depth.

I’m okay with everyone being overly friendly as long as they also have interesting things to say

it’ll be so nice for them to no longer be limited to just walking around town, shops, their house or occasionally carrying tools and more solemnly actually use them

I saw that tweet too, and it seems that they are mean if YOU are mean back, makes sense, our actions have consequences now if this is true

I'm down for the sass to come back into AC. NL had the interactions get stale quick, but I don't think it's just the lack of attitude, it's also just not having much interesting stuff to say. Even cranky and snooty villagers didn't really get sassy or confrontational with you, it feels weird after going back to play City Folk to tide me over until March 20th.

Except the time that I was mugged by Chow... After that, I learned not to carry so many bells on my person.
