Since I have not been doing my Theme of the Week due to other things going on, the publication dates for the entries will not match the time I actually post on. But this is part four of the second week, where it's all going to be on the department store and one animal house.

City Department Store:

One key thing about the Theme of the Week series is not just to decorate a room to resemble the theme, but it's also to make it look like the actual setting based on the theme. This week, I turned the department store into some city-like store. Here's what's been done.

The lobby looks like a parking lot. It also has models of landmarks from all over the world, with the American ones on the left side and the European ones in the middle.

This is the toy shop, which sells toys and balloons. Most of the toys sold here are the Fireworks Festival prizes that are based on actual toys developed by Nintendo. When I was little, I liked going to the toy store, but mostly because of Legos. As a kid, I've been more into Legos than any other kind of toy. Hasn't changed much as I grown up, as now I am building even bigger sets than before.

The other one is the video game store that exclusively sells Nintendo content. One of the best DLC sets in Happy Home Designer are the Nintendo store items. You got Wii Us, 3DSs, game shelves, and stations. As I decorated this small store, not only I put in the Nintendo store items, but I also added some Nintendo-themed scenery (like that super star on top of the ? block.

Finally, we have the city café at the top. The train wallpaper is one of my favorite ones in the game. It also looks like some office block walls. The store is still a fast food restaurant.

Gala's House:

Another villager I decided to stick to the original client's vision instead of decorating the way I like is Gala, who originally wanted a bank. As I decorated her house, I put two parking lots outside as I put in waiting lines and a teller's counter. In addition, I placed a few ABD machines and a big pile of cash behind bars for security.

That's all for this entry. Next one will be the final batch for the City theme.

The blog post is actually posted on October 6, 2017 at 11:50 PM GMT-5. The reason why the date is wrong is to be more consistent with the rest of the series.
