There should be a section in the museum for gyroids

I've been thinking about this ever since I played New Leaf! It'll give us more of an incentive to even dig up the gyroids in the first place because I feel like most people don't want them when they get them and they just end up taking space so people sell them.

But if we had them on display in the museum, that would be super cool! :D

I would welcome such an exhibit. Maybe they could add some rare gyroids with a unique look (like the Brewster ones for example), specific made for this section?

No.

I wish they would get rid of them.
I get sick of digging them up after it rains.

They don't mean anything to me. They are pointless and extra work.

That's my personal opinion.
Make them optional.

i would love for them to have a display, maybe not in the museum but as an extra part of the roost, such as a side room. I've always seen the gyroids as brewsters babies, especially since you could store gyroids with him in the GC version and in NL he gives u brewster themed gyroids. I'm thinking maybe the roost has a back room that you can unlock that is dedicated to brewsters love of gyroids and you could get more gyroid related interaction with him. Honestly, anything that allows more interaction with brewster would make me happy :)

That's the thing, it would give them a purpose rather than being pointless.
Also, I think "extra work" is a bit extreme to describe digging up + throwing out/selling 1 or 2 extra items haha

please! they've never realyl had a purpose but i think they're so cute and an iconic animal crossing item

Yes I definitely agree! I mentioned this idea in a thread a while ago and hope it actually happens :)

I don't like getting stung by bees, make them optional....

But no, I think that's a nice idea as well. It would be nice to try and collect them all.
That room in the museum would be chaotic tho, if they were all turned on haha.

I think adding an extra room/s in the Roost to place all of the gyroid collection you dig up would make more sense than placing the gyroids in the museum. Or maybe add an encyclopedia for gyroids that you can flip through with sound included and zoom in/out, rotation feature. Adding all the gyroids in one room might become a bit too noisy to fully appreciate each one for its unique sound.

Having a section for gyroids in the museum would be pretty interesting, as I never really know what to do with them after I dig them up. Most of the time I just sell them, but if I could display them, then that would make it all the more reason to dig them up and it would be pretty fun.

Yes! I would love this. I keep track of them and a lot of other things with an app. (ACNL guide), but it?s more fun when it?s in game.

This is a great idea. Gyroids have always been something to collect with no real way to know which you do and don't have. I think a room in the museum with them could be interesting, combining all the sounds into a large, tinny, beautiful mess.
