Thinking about doing a giveaway, who has been looking for popular villagers the longest?

I don't think this belongs in the New Horizons section, even though the villagers I want to give away are in New Horizons. It's more of a question about the TBT site and its users than the game.

I'm wondering if there's a way, maybe by somehow searching TBT, or maybe someone here will just know, which users on this site have been looking for Raymond and Judy the longest. I have them both, and once I get their photos, I'm going to let them move away, and I'd like for them to go to people who will really love them and keep them forever. I have Raymond's photo already, and I'm pretty sure I'll get Judy's any day now. I'll be using the free week of NSO that came with the game to be able to let people visit to invite them, so I'll be giving them both away within the same week, once they're both ready. They're both ungifted, other than Judy, whose inventory I purged of a shirt I accidentally gave her with twenty-four of her default dress, one of which she displays in her house now.

Anyway, I'd like to find out who is still active on the site who has been looking for Raymond the longest. The same for Judy. Is there some clever way of searching the site that would reveal that information to me? Or perhaps someone here just knows of someone who has been looking for a long time who will really treasure them. Because I don't want to just go open a giveaway thread and let the first person who sees it get the villager. I want to help someone who has been looking for a long time, who has maybe been unlucky thus far, who will be happy to finally get their dreamy.

I'm not sure if this is the best or only way, but it may come down to going through the Looking For Thread in New Neighbor Network (sorry I didn't link those) to see. You may have to do some deep investigation to find the people who have been looking the longest, maybe starting with people who are looking for them period then looking at their post history to see when they first posted that they were looking?

I know it's a lot, but I'd be happy to help you go through them and see what I come up with. Perhaps a mod has a better answer, as I know mine isn't that great.

was just about to suggest this as well (unless someone comes forward saying they know someone who has been looking for a while)

you could also do a giveaway thread where people need to submit a written or visual work about the villager they want and choose a winner by random number generator. even if someone hasnt been looking for super long they likely will really want the villager. plus we all can enjoy the submissions c:

I'm not quite sure, but this is a wonderful idea. It's also a matter about who's active as well, because sometimes people might had been looking for awhile, but arnt active anymore, or come here

Im thinking maybe just scroll through the posts, and check who's active. Unless it's like myself, and you can't see any activity, so maybe most recent? I could try and help

I've been pretty lucky.

I got Cherry as a starter villager.
Goldie in less than 10 NMT.
Stitches as a campsite villager.
Judy as a random move-in.
Fauna as a campsite villager.
Chevre as a random move-in.

Although I'm pretty sure that if you play long enough you will (eventually) find your dreamies!

I have been looking for Judy since i first got the game last year! I don´t know why I have no luck. I´ve spent so many NMTs trying to look for her and i still haven´t even though she´s my dreamie and she´s the only villager I definitely want I haven´t gotten any nook mile item or anything else as I spent them all trying to find her

Send you something about why they want them. That's done alot on Neopets, it's how I got my Cybunny

I basically wrote a small story. It was fun way to get a critter. Since the trading here reminds me alot of how Neopets does their trading too

I’ve also been looking for Judy for quite some time since I think she’s so pretty with the colours! I’ve tried looking for her by island hunting and usually when I’ve used 50 NMT tickets, I call it quits and invite a villager because I got fed up.

Though, I don’t think I’ve been looking for her since LAST year D:

I understand the struggle haha, I’ve been doing a shop on here where I get people whatever villager they want for whatever price they offer since I have all the Amiibos, but unfortunately there’s no Amiibo for Judy yet so it’s real difficult to find her
