Thinking Villagers?

I was wondering if anyone else has run into this and knew anything about it.
It seems to happen if you repeatedly talk to a villager. After x amount of times, they say something like "Hmm, I really need to think about this", and start slowly walking around with a paw/claw/hoof/wing to their chin in a thinking pose with the white thinking bubble above their head. During this time they won't say much to you. Eventually it goes away, and you are able to talk to them again.

Does anyone know if this means anything? I don't recall seeing this in past games, and I was really worried it meant they were thinking about leaving or something.

Maybe they just need some alone time because you talked to them so much they've run out of things to say? Idk, but they are probably not thinking about moving.

That has happened to me a few times when I talk to Olaf. I will admit, I don't exactly give the poor ant eater some space, but it's only because he's so awesome!

They do this when you are constantly talking to them so you will leave them alone and enjoy other aspects of the game. It goes away eventually. While the thinking emotion is new for the animals to do when you repeatedly talk to them, the actual idea was in past versions. The animals would just get upset or angry in past versions when you repeatedly talked to them, or showed no emotion rather just displayed a different dialogue implying for you to leave them alone.

I do that all the time with Tank the Rhinko, LOL.
