Yeah I agree with you. Wii U has always been a rubbish console. The best we can expect now is backwards compatibility with NX for 3ds and Wii U.Don't get your hopes up. Wii U is dead in the water. Nintendo will be unveiling the NX at next year's E3. Wii U is never getting a proper Animal Crossing game.
I guess I will still buy Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival so I can just break it, shatter it into oblivion and then send it to Nintendo by mail.

The Wii U has the best games of this generation, just not as much as some would like. For a gamer with not that much time on his hands the Wii U still has a nice library that I'm looking forward to plunging into.
I don't think we got this instead of Animal Crossing U at all.
If anything, this thread should be on the Splatoon boards because really, that's the game we got instead of Animal Crossing U.
We got Splatoon (one game) instead of Call of Duty (series of games). I think we might get AC Wii U, just not this year.
They can't release AC next year when NX is going to hopefully be released. Maybe we could wish for a Wii U version and a NX version. XD. The marketing tactics would be terrible then.
What does your uncle work at Nintendo or something? You're welcome to your opinion and all, but it's not like what you say or think is fact.
First off, for people saying New Leaf is only 2, it's NOT, it's about to turn THREE- this November actually. Localization was what gave it to America in 2013, but if you had a Japanese copy, you've had it three years. Just using Japan's release years, it's looking quite dire for a Wii U version (especially if it's only got a couple years left in its lifetime):
2001: Nintendo 64
2001: GameCube
2003: GameCube
2005: Nintendo DS
2008: Wii
2012: 3DS
20??: Wii U??
Granted, Splatoon could have delayed any possible U version, but look at all the features in Happy Home Designer. It's not simply the animal's house, it's the town, both a city aspect and the area around the houses- you can finally put furniture outside!! Come on, all the stuff fans have been yelling for Nintendo finally gives in Happy Home Designer! A Wii U version may eventually come, but if I had to guess, they want the install base to be much higher than it is, and are using Amiibo Festival (and if you have it Animal Crossing Plaza) to tide fans over wanting a console something (besides the MK8 track and Smash level/costume/etc).
Yes but I think I have made it pretty clear across the forum that these suggestions are just that, suggestions. And at that coming from a 14 year old, so don't take anything I say as true.
