This tier list is a bit messed up (at least to me)

Today, I watched this video of a YouTuber ranking Animal Crossing villager. (link:

), and I strongly disagree with a lot of her opinions:
I cannot mention them all since there are so many, but here are a few that I have to share:
-Izzie put Agent S, my second favorite villager, in C Tier, which simply just annoys me, since I find her to be one of, if not, the cutest villager. And as a side-note, she referred Agent S as male.
-Izzie is also shown to dislike certain villager species, such as lions, most mice, alligators, and almost every horse.
-The lowest tier is enormous; compare it to my ACNH tier list, which only has sixteen villagers I dislike
-Though this is more of an accidental thing, Izzie called some villagers by the wrong name.
-Another accidental thing, Izzie thought Rudy was normal, which can never be the case.

There are several other details I can mention, but those are all the major ones.
Do you disagree with any of the opinions in the video?

Remember everyone has opinions, so it's not surprising to most people. And not every list is accurate which is 80% of them. But this lady doesn't seem to look into details of each villager, she seems like just ranking them too fast and thinking it's easy.

I think everyone’s entitled to their opinions but a good amount of people will like the “popular” villagers bc they are popular and mostly for the looks. I don’t really look at tier lists except the one here for pricing, since it doesn’t benefit me at all to know someone out there doesn’t like a villager I like

I will agree on that.
And to be fair, I am almost finished with my individual personality tier list that you should all check out.
But it's just her opinion, and I guess it's fine to dislike several. I was just astounded on how big the lowest tier was.
I will give her points to putting Hugh and Antonio that high.

yeah, she was being a little ew, like I actually love a lot of the mice, BUT we should respect that it’s her opinion even if we don’t agree and be respectful, especially since she isn’t here to defend herself

people are allowed to have opinions.

disliking certain species does not make the tier list any less valid, its just personal opinions.

not everyone is going to like the same villagers as you

i personally haven’t watched that video but this is the main reason why tier lists just don’t work out - i think their intended purpose was for those who are into buying/selling/trading villagers to have a general idea of a villager’s popularity so that they could generate a price range for them of sorts. that being said, tier lists are all really subjective - the tier lists you can find on here are probably different than any that might exist on animal crossing community, gamefaqs or any other ac platform that exists.

but overall, general tier lists are never really a good idea as everyone has different opinions - tier lists will always differ and some might seem ‘wrong’ to some but in reality, no tier list is wrong, as every tier list is unique to each person. so while one villager might rank poorly on one list, they might be #1 on someone else’s. it can be frustrating to encounter someone who doesn’t like the same villagers as you or is dismissive of a certain species but then again, everyone’s taste is different and while some’s opinions might seem a bit “rude” or “incorrect”, it’s really all just in good fun and everyone can like or dislike whoever they please

I didn't watch the list and I don't bother watching/reading most lists if they aren't something you can make a constructive criticism on. For example, I'd probably watch videos ranking games from a certain franchise, because there are enough aspects in each game you can criticize on. For ACNH, really the only thing you can judge them is on their appearance, since that's the only unique thing going on for each villager. And even so, people are entitled to their own opinions, especially design-wise since everyone has different tastes. I would never purposely call someone's opinions on villagers "messed up", that just seems pretty rude haha.

Why is this girl's opinions important again?
I don't watch videos like this because I don't care about random strangers opinions on villagers. Community based tier lists are far more important to me imo because it's a group effort rather than just one person saying what is so.

Maybe you're right. I just am weirded out on how she ranked certain villagers. I expected our opinions to differ vastly, but not that much. And I don't necessarily like the people who don't like any of a certain species, since there's at least one good one. I do agree that a tier list based on the community is more important, but one person can submit several votes for one specific villager.
