maybe when you bumped ppl were posting on other thread at the same time. just a quick question when you went back to the home pg did your post move ? or stay in the same spot?

It never showed on the thread list, in the picture you can see, 10:04 is my bump, 10:02 and 10:06 are the top threads.

Your screen shots are bit confusing to follow. For a solution check though, try changing internet browsers and see if that does anything for you.
