Tips for netting some quick TBT?

Hello! I'm wondering if anyone has any advice on how to make TBT short-term. I currently have 782 bells and I am trying to get to 1200 bells, so some simple arithmetic would declare I'm hoping to earn 418 bells. Are there any good ways to make TBT, as I'm really trying to get a username change but having no luck with gaining bells despite posting! (Maybe that's just me not noticing though)

Posting larger, longer comments on things usually helps. Look for a debate or something to join maybe. I find those usually provide sufficient bells.

Definitely post larger (but still quality!) posts since they earn you more TBT. I find that over the course of a few weeks of doing that, you will sooner or later have so much TBT. It happened to me. xD

You could always try sell art if you're good at that, or if you play on other sites like FR, Pok?heroes or those that allow selling currency off sites you could sell that here.

Grab a limited collectible from restocks/fair and you'll be loaded. That's how I got 22k. Also art and stuff will help.

A lot of people who have trouble getting collectibles might get salty about this, I have before too, but it is indeed effective and fair. This is definitely a method to consider lol

I see you've met your goal now but for future you could maybe sell some things in game? Don't know if selling villagers in new leaf would be possible for you? Other than that just keep posting. The shorter posts only give about 3 or 4 tbt a time but it spins builds up. Most of mine have been earned without even trying as I like to chat to people on here and it's just mounted up

Oops, I absolutely didn't mean it like that! It's just honestly the most effective way but requires patience and effort. Just putting that out there lol. Of course there are many other effective ways of making TBT. ^^

make shops, start selling things. it'll be a steady income of tbt if you're successful enough. secondly, i'd like to add if you were to post paragraphs on debate threads, contributing to topics is a big part. we have enough ****posts and ****posters as it is.
