You're supposed to wait until the day after the bridge was built. My fountain is getting built at the moment, and I waited after the day my bridge was done. I have 400,000 and it worked out fine. =3

I think that when you make payments you must pay it all in 1 go.
E.g. If you pay 100k one day and then 100k the next day you will not have a bridge.
You may have wasted 400k.

no i did it its 200k bells for bridge, wait one day (till Tortimer stops partying!) then donating 400k bells works...
That's not true I remember I donated only 10,000 bells the first day thinking I would get the green feather, Once I learned about the bridge I only donated 190,000 and got to vote for a new bridge the following day.DeanoShemino64 said:
