Town Fund not working...

I donated 200,000 bells and got the bridge. Then I donated 300,000 more bells. It's not giving me the fountain. They aren't making any mention of the fountain, it's just the town fund as usual.

Does the 200,000 I donated towards the bridge not count towards the fountain? Is there a set amount of time I have to wait after getting the bridge to get the fountain?

I donated 500k at once, hoping I'd get the fountain and bridge. I got the bridge, but not the fountain. So I donated another 200k(The last of my savings), that didn't work. I guess the money you donate for one thing doesn't save up for the next. Or you could just say I wasted 300k, and hours of work.

amp lost 300k, so if you pay $80 to the cashier and the cashier doesn't give you your $30 back-thats what i meant

thats weird, cuz i dontated 200k, got the bridge, then i donated another 300k, got the fountain. then i donated another 500k and got the windmill. I know for a fact that this worked, because i only had a million bells, and i donated it in that pattern: 200k + 300k + 500k.
