Town Records and Achievements, maybe?

While playing my Japanese copy I was checking out how awesome the town tree has become when I discovered you can sit on the end and it starts rolling out information like credits. However, it's not credits.

It starts out listing the town name as the header, then goes on to show your name. Maybe as mayor? Next it will show a list of all villagers in the town, followed by a bunch of dates. Maybe dates for special things? Like opening of Club 444.

It's a town history if you like, so yes, public works projects, little milestones you've reached, even villager info. Someone else posted about this just today so great coincidence that you mention it too!
