An ax attack just occurred on a train in W?rzburg, Germany, and it was confirmed that the assailant was from Afghanistan. The German police killed him.
This comes just four days after the attacks in Nice, France, and just seven months after the New Year's Eve attacks that occurred in Cologne. What do you think of this situation?

ugh i'm just getting tired of these attacks tbh

They seem to be happening more and more frequently.
I remember, there was a thread on here asking people what country they thought was going to be attacked next. I guessed Germany, and it turns out I was right.

2016 has just been an all out poor year between isis/terrorist attacks plus the stuff happening in america with the shootings.

Guns, bombs, A TRUCK, machete, etc and now a axe.

It's not the weapon but the ideology. People are sck.

it's just a lot of anger going on right now, too much tension. people just tend to freak out under it. all these attacks just make me sick.

I haven't heard about this. I guess this stuff happens so often that it doesn't get much coverage anymore.

I read this and I'm just like "okay whatever".

At this point what else can I say? Another day, another attack.

wow they did really kill a 17 year old for not killing but injuring people with a ****ing Axe... LIKE IT'S A CLOSE GAP WEAPON???? Seriously wth

Okay, but what idiot thinks they can really do much on a train with an axe? Like, why did he pick such a useless weapon?

All that aside, it's still a tragedy. I feel horrible for those attacked, and those in shock from witnessing the attack.

It's a small incident so I'd be surprised if non-European news agencies reported on it. In the same sense, there's been a bunch of smaller attacks in France over the last two years that I'm not sure non-Europeans have really heard or read about.

He came back and attacked EMTs that had arrived. That's when police shot him.
Apart from that, 2 people are still critically injured and there's a real chance they could die.

It's dreadful....literally nowhere is safe. When I heard about the attack in France my first words were 'not again'. Sadly though, it's always the same procedure. The same leaders telling the world they are stepping up the war against terrorism, the same profile pictures going up on social media, same ritual....then it seems to die down until another one happens. Then repeat. It's just horrific
