Hi! So I currently share a switch with my sister. I bought the digital download of the game, and I started the island therefore making me the Island Representative. I know growing older I am going to want my own switch, so I was going to buy a second switch.
I know that I can download AC:NH on the new switch since I bought it digitally, but my problem is my save data. I know I can transfer my whole island, but I actually want to restart. I really want to pick a new island layout now that I know to pay more attention to the location of the river mouths, etc. I wish I could do the single player transfer, however I am the Island Representative and so I can’t.
I was thinking of just starting my island over then just locally connecting to my old switch and meticulously putting all my bells, flowers, furniture, etc. on the new island.
I do not know how the game will work tho, if I start over new on a new Island, new switch… what will happen to the game on the old switch? Technically I won’t be deleting my player therefore will that Island still be there? Bc I know my sister would like to keep that Island. I wish they would let us transfer Island Representatives!!!
