Well I hear some poeple are having trouble planting trees. So I made a step by step guide of how I plant them and it always works for me, so let me know if it works for you or not!
1.Get a fruit or spaling
2.Dig a hole*
3.Make sure your hole is 1 space away from everything so the fruit/bees/bells/furniture can drop.
4.Bury fruit
5.Water sapling
6.Make sure no one runs on it, if they do water it immediatly.
7.Your tree should start growing if you followed all of these steps correctly,and in 3 more days you'll have a fully grown tree!
*Coconuts must be buried near the ocean but not in the sand. Keep in mind this can mean on the little cliff thingies such as the one the lighthouse/windmill goes on.
