Good evening everyone,

One thing I always go overboard on is trees, and New Horizons is no exception. Isabelle just confirmed it by telling me I had too many trees and need to get rid of some in order to advance to a 3-star island.

How many trees do you guys generally keep around? Do you keep a lot of your native fruit trees and other fruit trees you've traded for, or just a few? Do you arrange them in perfect lines, as close together as possible, or do you like them to look more natural and spaced out.

Is there any purpose to having cedar trees aside from aesthetics, branches and shaking for furniture if you don't have many hardwood trees?

Of course it's Spring in the northern hemisphere so the cherry blossom trees are beautiful and I keep a bunch of hardwood trees around town for that purpose.

Thanks for sharing.

i would like a lot of trees, but right now with all the terraforming i may actually have to cut back on trees even though i've already cut back on them.

i like to keep 10 of non-native fruit trees because i think 30 is a nice number of fruit every 2 or so days. i currently have ~15 or so of my native fruit trees, but once terraforming is all complete i'll probably have more since i consider them to be a decorational tree in a way. i have too many hardwood & cedar trees to count so i dont have an exact number for u, but for now i've neatly arranged them into lines with a 1 block space all around the tree. my fruit trees have 2 spaces around them, but one space in front of them so it's easier to get fruit.

this is all temporary for now. im hoping to have a more natural placement of my trees instead of the minecraft tree farm i have going on 😔
