Trick to keep longer your silver axes

Hey,

I found out a way to keep longer your silver axes, and still be able to cut down trees while leaving a pattern out it.

Some of us like to keep the silver axe to make stamps with patterns in order to grow mushrooms.
What you can do is if you have the golden axe or a normal one is to chop off the tree twice. This means that the tee is not down yet. And for the last chop in order to chop off definitely the tree, you use the silver axe. Which means instead of being used 3 times for a tree, it is used once!

It is much better this way, and I've tried, because I know silver axes are rather rare on the island, and usually expensive to buy from other people.

Awh, I can't believe I never thought of that! I don't have very many trees to chop down, so I hardly ever use my axe, especially the silver one. But this is good to know in case I do c: Thanks for sharing.

Haha, I'm glad it will help some of you, I Wasn't sure whether it would until yesterday, and it did work, I got 3 triforces in a row ^^

I've been doing this for a few months now. 2 chops with golden/regular axe. Then final chop with silver axe. Works like a charm. 100% chance of getting special stump. Trying to get all 12 designs in my town.
